What's new in Measure Studio: August 2026

LinkedIn profiles, Archer templates, benchmark groups in reports, hidden detections in Content Lens, a new MCP setup experience, and a long list of fixes.

Here’s everything that shipped in August: new features, quality-of-life improvements, and fixes across the platform.

Features

  • Added support for LinkedIn profiles.
  • Archer templates give Archer a larger workspace with persistent chat history and a prompt library of pre-made and user-made templates. Templates can be shared with your team and can use @ variables for accounts.
  • You can now hide a detection on the post detail page. Hidden detections show in a disabled state and are left out of filters.
  • Reports can now use Post Group benchmarks in slides instead of account benchmarks.
  • The report generator now supports undo and redo, and keeps your selection in place after you delete the selected slide.
  • Added aspect ratio to post exports and single-post exports.
  • Added a search bar when adding a post group to a folder, matching what Move already had.
  • Added an organic engaged views metric to YouTube at every level.
  • MCP settings now include a connection tab with setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Cursor, Grok, and Copilot, plus an in-app banner that links to it.
  • The sign in and sign up page was redesigned for people who arrive from an MCP connector.
  • Archer and MCP can now return the post URL for any post, so decks and chats can link straight to the live post.
  • The Enterprise API now returns empty values in responses.

Improvements

  • Archer now tells you when a historical data period is incomplete, instead of presenting partial numbers as complete.
  • MCP now returns a clear message when a trial or subscription has expired, and throttled responses include a Retry-After header.
  • The Content Lens filter now expands to full width when open, so long option lists stay on screen.
  • The Content Lens “Text in media” filter now matches the full phrase you type instead of each word separately.
  • The report editing window now uses the full available size on large screens.
  • Report slide numbers now update after you delete a slide.
  • Updated YouTube organic view metrics so they match across the app and the API.
  • Relabeled X metrics to match what X shows in its own dashboard.
  • Custom metrics now reject malformed fractions (for example .05 where 0.05 is expected) with a clear error.
  • Simplified the tutorial view so new users are pointed to adding a social account.
  • Snapchat Publisher accounts no longer show a Re-authenticate prompt, since Snapchat discontinued Publisher. Publisher accounts are now off by default for new companies.
  • Posts that start receiving activity again after being marked inactive now get their missing daily history backfilled, across all platforms.
  • Pinned TikTok posts are now handled correctly during discovery.
  • Facebook video IDs now work in the Post ID filter.
  • Updated Facebook public account syncing for Facebook’s feed pagination changes.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed Instagram and Facebook post-level Views (Facebook) and Shares (Instagram) dropping to 0 on August 6.

  • Fixed YouTube traffic sources on post detail showing watch time bars by default. They now show views, with corrected column labels and order.

  • Fixed report duplication failing.
  • Fixed Reports created as Private saving as Shared with the entire team.
  • Fixed the YouTube widget in dashboard templates not saving edits.
  • Fixed dashboard video metrics missing on posts, which broke sort order.

  • Fixed the Post text filter missing from autogrouping settings for some users.
  • Fixed dashboard widgets changing order after an edit.
  • Fixed public accounts silently failing to add when you were over your account limit. You now see a limit alert.
  • Fixed Paid Impressions being labeled as deprecated, and inconsistent Impressions totals on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Fixed comparison periods showing data on charts for inactive periods.
  • Fixed Summaries missing overviews and thumbnails, and clipped summary text.
  • Fixed transcript timestamps resetting to 00:00 after one hour.
  • Fixed the post type filter showing a Reel under Text Only.
  • Fixed Meta dark posts not populating, and redundant blank dark posts appearing next to boosted organic posts.
  • Fixed TikTok dark posts pointing at the wrong account.
  • Fixed Snapchat Profile posts losing activity after being marked inactive.
  • Fixed LinkedIn public account video media not displaying.
  • Fixed LinkedIn account-level historic stats using a 13-month window instead of 12.
