MCP access is off by default. A workspace admin flips it on once in settings, then copy your workspace's MCP server URL — it lives right there.

Find Measure in ChatGPT's apps directory — or add it yourself under Settings → Apps with your server URL (developer mode). On Business and Enterprise, an admin enables it for the workspace.

Which ChatGPT plans work with Measure?

Apps and connectors are available across paid ChatGPT plans. Individual users add custom connectors in developer mode; on Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin enables Measure once and members connect with their own sign-in.

Can scheduled tasks really pull live data?

Yes. ChatGPT's scheduled tasks can use your connected apps, so a Monday-morning recap queries Measure at run time — not from a cached answer. Monitor-style tasks check on a schedule and only notify you when there's something to report.

Do I need to build or host anything?

No. Measure Studio ships and hosts the MCP server. You flip it on in your workspace settings, connect it in ChatGPT, and sign in — there's nothing to deploy and no keys to manage.

What can ChatGPT actually see and do?

Exactly what you can. OAuth scopes the connection to your user and workspace, so ChatGPT gets your permissions: 40+ tools covering posts, stats, audiences, dashboards, and targets, plus light writes like tagging and building report slides. Nothing destructive is exposed.

Is my social data used to train ChatGPT?

Measure is the data source, not the model — we store no conversation transcripts. On the model side, the connection runs under the ChatGPT plan your team already chose, so your workspace's OpenAI data controls apply unchanged.
