How it works
It reads posts so your team doesn't have to
- 1
A post lands
Every post syncs the moment it's published — from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Snapchat, across your accounts and the public accounts you track.
- 2
Content Lens takes it in
It watches the video, reads the caption and the text on screen, and listens to what's said — the way an analyst would, at a scale no analyst could.
- 3
Structured data comes out
Every detection conforms to a fixed schema: clean, consistent fields — never free-form AI text — so posts are filterable and reportable the second they're analyzed.
No prompts to write. No models to configure. No tagging workflows to manage. Content Lens automatically turns your content into structured insights.

Built for analysts
Your content library, queryable like a database
Social media analysts spend hours labeling posts before analysis can even start. Content Lens deletes that step — so the work begins at "what does this mean," not "what is this."
- Competitive teardowns. Every post that featured a rival brand, product, or spokesperson — across your whole category, without tagging a thing.
- Sponsorship audits. Every ad in the feed, its brand partners, and exactly how it was disclosed — platform label, hashtag, spoken, or on-screen.
- Talent & creator cuts. Host-by-host and creator-by-creator performance, pulled in seconds instead of a week of spreadsheet work.
- Format & vibe analysis. Does polished beat BTS? Does playful beat provocative? That's a filter now, not a debate.
- Multilingual libraries. Slice global accounts by spoken or written language — and read the transcript when you need the receipts.
- New questions, old posts. When the CMO asks something nobody predicted, the structure is already in the library waiting for it.
Where the data goes
Structured fields, everywhere you work
Content Lens output is social media data like any other in Measure Studio — the same clean fields show up in the app, in your AI tools, and in your data stack.
Filters, dashboards & reports
Slice the library by any detection, build dashboards around a tag instead of an account, and drop the cut straight into a deck.
Archer, your AI analyst
Archer answers with Content Lens data underneath — ask "which sponsored Reels worked last quarter?" and the tags are already there.
Claude & ChatGPT via MCP
The Measure MCP server exposes classifications to the AI tools your team already uses, alongside every metric we track.
API, warehouse & exports
Classification fields ride along with your per-post data — through the documented API, native warehouse delivery, and spreadsheet exports.
Data privacy & security
Private by design
AI content analysis shouldn't cost you control of your data. Here's the deal, in plain terms.
- Opt-in, always. Classification is off by default and enabled per account or client. Nothing is analyzed until you turn it on.
- Public content only. The AI sees the post itself — media and caption. Never your analytics, audience data, account credentials, or personal information.
- Never trained on your data. We use enterprise AI models on paid API tiers where inputs and outputs are contractually excluded from model training.
- Nothing retained by the model. Content is processed transiently and not stored beyond the request. Only the parsed, structured output is saved — in your Measure Studio workspace.
- Structured output only. Content Lens produces read-only metadata on a fixed schema. It never generates open-ended content or takes actions on your accounts.
- Deleted with the post. Remove a post or an account and its classifications are automatically deleted with it — same retention rules as everything else.

What is AI content classification for social media?
It's using AI to turn unstructured social posts — video, images, captions, audio — into structured, queryable data. Content Lens analyzes every post you track and produces consistent fields for the people, brands, products, topics, formats, tone, language, and ad disclosures inside it, so analysts can filter and report on content the way they already do on metrics.
What does Content Lens detect?
40+ dimensions per post, including public figures, talent, featured brands and products, subject, genre, narrative arc, content format, production quality, spoken and written language, on-screen text (OCR), full video transcripts, tone, vibes, emotional trigger, CTA style, and ad detection with brand partners and disclosure methods. It also writes a short content summary for every post.
Which platforms does it work with?
Every platform Measure Studio tracks — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Snapchat — for your own accounts and the public accounts you follow, like competitors.
Is our content used to train AI models?
No. Content Lens runs on enterprise AI models via paid API tiers where inputs and outputs are excluded from model training. Content is processed transiently, nothing is retained by the model provider beyond the request, and only publicly posted content is analyzed — never your analytics, audience data, or credentials.
Does it replace manual tagging?
For most of what teams tag by hand, yes — dimensions like brand mentions, talent, format, and sponsorship are detected automatically the moment a post lands. Your own tags and custom categories still work alongside it for anything unique to your taxonomy.
How do analysts query the classifications?
Four ways: filter and dashboard by any detection inside Measure Studio, ask Archer — the built-in AI analyst — in plain language, query them from Claude or ChatGPT through the MCP server, or pull the fields raw through the API, warehouse delivery, and exports.
Stop tagging. Start asking.
