What is Reach?
The total number of unique users who have viewed your account’s content at least once.
Where should I find Reach?
From your profile home page, click on the menu icon in the top right of your screen and select Insights. For post analytics on the “Insights Overview” page, select “Reach” as your metric.
Why is Reach Important?
Reach is an accurate measurement of the size of your post’s audience. It directly tells you how many unique users have viewed your post, and is excellent for determining performance of content and campaigns. An uptick in reach signals your audience resonates more with that content.
How to improve your Reach metric?
Collaborate with other brands and creators, using geolocation and popular hashtags, going live to prioritize your content towards the front of the Stories feed. It’s beneficial to post when your audience is most active.
How frequently should I track this?
You can track this daily to help stay informed on your performance and react appropriately to changing trends and new interactions. In terms of reporting, you can do so weekly and monthly.
